The staking plans

Flat staking risks the same fixed amount on every bet — simple and low-variance. Percentage staking risks a fixed share of your current bankroll, so stakes grow and shrink with your balance. Kelly criterion sizes each stake by your edge: the bigger the gap between your win probability and the odds-implied probability, the more it stakes — maximising long-term growth but with higher swings. Many bettors use a fraction of full Kelly (e.g. half) to tame the variance.
